Bobcats Win to Extend Series Lead to 3-0
Riding the 3-hit performance of right fielder Fredie Bacon, the Cleveland Bobcats got a road win against the New York Knickerbockers, 7-6, in Game 3 of the World's Championship Series today. Bacon went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Bobcats, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 0.

Bimm Koch helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to give Cleveland a 2-0 lead.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said New York manager . "But we decided not to take it."

The next game is scheduled for tomorrow. Slated to start are Cap Howland for the Cleveland Bobcats and Baby-doll McLane for the the New York Knickerbockers.
