Propels Industrials to 7-3 Victory; Series Tied at 2

The Pittsburgh
Industrials defeated the New
York Knickerbockers, 7-3 in Game 4 of the
World's Series today. Earning player of the game
honors was first baseman Billy
Packer, who went 2-3 with 2 singles and a
walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win
moves Pittsburgh into a 2-2 tie with New York in the
series.
Milton Currie
aided the Pittsburgh cause with a run-scoring walk
in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the
shortstop drew 2 walks.
"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for
the Industrials," said Packer.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at
Dormont Park in Pittsburgh. Slated to start are Moe
Niemann for the New York Knickerbockers and Grant
Bagley for the the Pittsburgh Industrials.
