The Pittsburgh Industrials and the New York Knickerbockers will take the World's Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation today, the Industrials beat the Knickerbockers 4-2 at Washington Square Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Pittsburgh right-hander Antonio Butt was named player of the game in the win after he threw 9 innings allowing 2 runs.

Harman Carley aided the Pittsburgh cause with a run-scoring triple in the top of the third. For the game, the catcher was 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Carley.

Game 7 is set to be played tomorrow in New York. Slated to start are Calvin Anton for Pittsburgh and Nick Putnam for New York.
