It's Over! Pittsburgh Defeats New York
The Pittsburgh Industrials ignited a huge celebration as they beat the New York Knickerbockers 3-1 to win the World's Series.

Pittsburgh won the series 4-3, capturing the title for the 3rd time.

"We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Pittsburgh manager . "It's a great feeling."

The champs finished the regular season 93-65 and claimed first place in the National Base Ball League Western Division.

In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and left fielder Freeman McCullough said the Industrials have "great fans and they deserve this."

"I am so happy for our city right now," he said.
