The New
York Knickerbockers ignited a huge celebration
as they beat the Detroit
Wolverines 6-0 to win the World's Series.
New York won the series 4-3, capturing the title for
the 6th time.
"We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're
the champs," said New York manager . "It's a great
feeling."
The champs finished the regular season 104-54 and
claimed first place in the National Base Ball League
