Philadelphia Quakers Capture World's Series
The Philadelphia Quakers were good enough to get past the Cincinnati Packers at Roman Arena today and secure the 4th championship in franchise history.

"When you wear Quakers on your shirt, you're good at something," Philadelphia skipper told the press.

Quakers center fielder Ike Haywood was named MVP of the series after he went .348 with 1 home run and 8 RBI.

"It feels totally incredible," Haywood said. "I could live to 1,000 years old and I'd remember this moment."

The new champions capped off a great season with a 11-7 victory over the Packers to win the World's Series 4-1.
