Explorers Hammered by
Isaac, Drop Game 2 to Knickerbockers
|
The New
York Knickerbockers relied on the hitting of
center fielder Raymond
Isaac to get by the St.
Louis Explorers, 4-2, in Game 2 of the World
Series today. For the game, Isaac was 3-4 with a
home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and
scoring once. The clubs are now tied, 1-1.
Isaac's nice game included a clutch 2-run home run
in the top of the first.
"I like what I saw today," said New York manager ,
"and I can't wait to get back out there and do it
again."
Game 3 is set to be played Friday, October 8th,
1915. The scheduled starters for the game are Edgar
Bath for St. Louis and Lester
Howel for New York.
