Quakers Clip Explorers 3-2 in World Series Contest
The Philadelphia Quakers topped the St. Louis Explorers by the score of 3-2 and moved into a 2-2 tie in the World Series today. The largest share of the credit went to player of the game and Philadelphia starter Clay Easton, who threw 9 innings of 6-hit ball in the win.

The Explorers had trouble solving Easton, who surrendered no earned runs on 6 hits over 9 innings.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Easton told the Philadelphia Times.

The next game is scheduled for tomorrow. Slated to start are Warley Krueger for the St. Louis Explorers and Soloman Carlson for the the Philadelphia Quakers.
