Industrials Hammered by Brown, Drop Game 4 to Knickerbockers
Handed an opportunity to take a commanding lead in the World Series, the Pittsburgh Industrials could not close the deal.

Game 4 went into extra frames and the New York Knickerbockers emerged victorious, taking a 10-inning, walk-off win by the final score of 5-4. New York center fielder Maurice Brown was named player of the game. He went went 3-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice in the win at Knickerbocker Stadium today to drag the Knickerbockers back to parity. The clubs are now tied 2-2 in the best-of-7 series.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Brown hit a cutter from Bob Wilson for a solo home run. The Knickerbockers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Extras are exciting for the fans, but they are tough for the visitors because every time they're at the plate, they can end it with one swing," said Industrials manager .

Game 5 is set to be played tomorrow at Knickerbocker Stadium. Slated to start are Elmer Deaton for Pittsburgh and Will Anderson for New York.
