Industrials Hammered by
Robinson, Drop Game 5 to Beavers

The Buffalo
Beavers have closed some of the gap between
themselves and the series-leading Pittsburgh
Industrials, winning 6-4 at Beaver Park today.
Beavers left fielder Kerry
Robinson was named player of the game after he
went 2 for 3 with a home run, a triple, and was hit
by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The
win cuts the deficit facing the Beavers to 3-2 in
the best-of-7 World Series.
Robinson had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and
2nd in the bottom of the seventh inning, when he hit
a 3-run home run. The Beavers went on to win.
Robinson said the win provided a "big morale boost"
for the team. "There's a good feeling in the
clubhouse right now."
Game 6 is set to be played Tuesday in Pittsburgh.
The scheduled starters for the game are Johnny
Lucas for the Buffalo Beavers and Elmer
Deaton for the the Pittsburgh Industrials.
