Pittsburgh Wins at Home to
Narrow Series Deficit to 2-1

Already down in the League
Championship Series, the Pittsburgh
Industrials put on their best show, beating
the Philadelphia
Quakers by a final score of 2-1 today. Foster
Pavlovic earned player of the game honors, as
he threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball. Pittsburgh now
trails Philadelphia 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.
Henry Bryant
chipped in for Pittsburgh with a 2-run home run in
the bottom of the third. For the game, the left
fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1

Quakers manager Daniel Dugdale did not take
questions after the game, telling assembled

and when we win the World Series."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at
Allegheny Field in Pittsburgh. Slated to start are Jackie
Gregory for Philadelphia and Elmer
