Already down in the League Championship Series, the Pittsburgh Industrials put on their best show, beating the Philadelphia Quakers by a final score of 2-1 today. Foster Pavlovic earned player of the game honors, as he threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball. Pittsburgh now trails Philadelphia 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

Henry Bryant chipped in for Pittsburgh with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
