League Championship Series Goes the Distance, Toronto Prevails
It went the distance, but the Toronto Hurons finally disposed of the San Francisco Seagulls 7-2 in the series clincher at Toronto Park.

Winning the finale gave the Hurons the series, 4-3. They will now advance to the World Series.

The Most Valuable Player Award went to Toronto shortstop Don Hatton. He batted .632 in the series, collecting 6 RBIs and scoring 5 runs.

"Don deserves it," said Hurons manager Jim Burns. "He was the glue that held our club together."

The Toronto Hurons will play against the Chicago Traders in the next round. Chicago won their series against the Philadelphia Quakers 4 games to 1. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
