Terriers Win to Extend Series Lead to 2-0
The Boston Terriers got an exceptional performance from starter Clint Schultz, who silenced the San Francisco offense en route to a 7-0 shutout win in Game 2 of the League Championship Series today. The Seagulls could never get a bead on the right-handed Schultz, who threw 9 innings of shutout ball to earn player of the game honors. The Terriers now hold a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

Schultz pitched a complete game for Boston. The 23-year-old right-hander was charged with no runs on 7 hits. He struck out 3 during his 115-pitch performance.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Boston manager Clark Anderson.

The next game is set to be played Friday at Mission Field. The scheduled starters for the game are John Manders for the Boston Terriers and Willie Zarate for the the San Francisco Seagulls.
