Terriers Win League Championship Series
Jim Spencer wore out opposing pitchers en route to being named League Championship Series MVP.

The star's Boston Terriers defeated the San Francisco Seagulls by a series score of 4-1 to advance to the World Series.

Boston won the final game by a 10-9 count in front of a raucous crowd at Mission Field.

Spencer hit .391 with a .391 on-base percentage in the series, while also adding 0 home runs, driving in 10 RBI and scoring 4 runs.

"Just trying to do my job, that's all there is too it," said Spencer.

The Boston Terriers will play against the Chicago Traders in the next round. Chicago won their series against the Pittsburgh Industrials 4 games to 0. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
