Terriers Clip Emeralds 2-1 in LCS Contest
The Boston Terriers got a complete game effort from starter Ben McHargue to move into a 2-2 tie with the Seattle Emeralds in the best-of-7 League Championship Series.

The Boston right-hander went the distance at Atlantic Avenue Grounds, cooling off the Seattle Emeralds and striking out 2 to help Boston take the 2-1 win that knotted the series.

McHargue threw well for Boston, thwarting the Seattle offense. The right-hander tossed 106 pitches over 9 innings. He allowed just 1 run on 5 hits.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," McHargue said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Atlantic Avenue Grounds. Slated to start are Gabe Aviles for the Seattle Emeralds and Bob Griffin for the the Boston Terriers.
