Emeralds, Terriers Seize 3-2 Advantage in LCS
|
The Boston
Terriers moved to within one game of the World
Series today, downing the visiting Seattle
Emeralds at Atlantic Avenue Grounds by a score
of 6-1. Terriers right-hander Bob
Griffin had a strong outing in which he threw
9 innings of 7-hit ball. The win gives the Terriers
a 3-2 advantage in the best-of-7 League Championship
Series.
Griffin delivered a quality start for Boston. The 6'

9 innings of work.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all
you can do," said Griffin.

scheduled starters for the game are Harry
Vickers for Boston and Jose
Juarez for Seattle.
