Terriers on to World
Series |
The Boston
Terriers "proved we can handle pressure" by
beating the League Championship Series and
eliminating the Seattle
Emeralds, according to series MVP Joe
Seidel.
"This is the big stage, we're off to the World
Series and looking towards the World Series," he
said. "There's a lot of pressure at this time of
year and it's only going to get more intense from
here. But I think we can handle it just fine."
Boston won the final game 7-3, to wrap up the series
4-2.
Seidel led his team to the series win by putting up
a .458 average, with a .480 on-base percentage. He
had 2 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 5 runs.
The Boston Terriers
will play against the Chicago
Traders in the next round. Chicago won their
series against the Brooklyn
Bluebirds 4 games to 1. The World Series
schedule will be announced after the League
Championship Series finishes. |
