Terriers Hammered by Bivins, Drop Game 4 to Traders
On the verge of being swept and facing a red-hot Boston Terriers team, the Chicago Traders had a tough assignment. Bobby Bivins delivered.

The Traders catcher was unstoppable for the visitors, as he went 4 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once in guiding his club to its first victory of the series, 6-3. Bivins, 35, earned accolades for his efforts. The win means Chicago now trails 3-1 in the best-of-7 series.

The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Bivins delivered big-time for Chicago, stroking a dramatic 3-run home run off Ben McHargue. The game-changing hit put the Traders on top, 6-3.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Bivins.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Atlantic Avenue Grounds. Slated to start are Ken Amison for the Chicago Traders and Harry Vickers for the the Boston Terriers.
