Chicago Wins at Home to Narrow Series Deficit to 3-1
Ken Amison was not ready to let the League Championship Series end.

With the Chicago Traders backed into a corner, the right-handed Amison held off the New York Knickerbockers. He threw 9 innings of 6-hit ball. The win cuts the series deficit for the Traders to 3-1 in the best-of-7 series.

Amison delivered a quality start for Chicago. The 5' 11" right-hander allowed 1 earned run on 6 hits over 9 innings of work.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Amison.

The next game is scheduled for tomorrow at Union Field. The scheduled starters for the game are John Ambrose for New York and Eduardo Rodriguez for Chicago.
