New York Takes League Championship Series
The New York Knickerbockers are moving on to the World Series after eliminating the Chicago Traders in the League Championship Series.

New York won the final game by a 3-0 count at Union Field and the series 4-1.

John Ambrose was key to the Knickerbockers win, as he was named series MVP, thanks in large part due to his 0.51 ERA over 17.2 innings. He also added 3 strikeouts with a 2-0 record.

"Onwards and upwards," the MVP said. "I'm just focusing on my next time on the mound now."

The New York Knickerbockers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the New York Empires - Seattle Emeralds series. New York leads the series 3 games to 2. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
