Cleveland Tops Cincinnati Again, 12-5
Riding the 3-hit performance of second baseman John Sublett, the Cleveland Bobcats stopped the visiting Cincinnati Packers, 12-5, in Game 2 of the League Championship Series today. Sublett went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for the Bobcats, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fifth when Sublett hit a run-scoring single. It propelled the Bobcats into the lead, 6-5.

"This team is real focused right now," said Cleveland manager Nick Barron.

Game 3 is scheduled for Friday at Roman Arena in Cincinnati.
