Starter Don
Young was sensational for the Cleveland
Bobcats in his team's 3-2 triumph over the Los
Angeles Pobladores in Game 1 of the World
Series today. Young pitched well, but Cleveland
picked up the win to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
Young was in the zone all game. He frustrated Los
Angeles hitters while giving the Bobcats 9 innings
of quality work. Young threw 109 pitches, allowing 5
hits and getting 4 punchouts.
"We had a good game plan," Young said, "and we were
able to execute it."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at San
Vicente Park in Los Angeles.
