The Los Angeles Pobladores took the first game of the League Championship Series in dramatic fashion today, topping the Toronto Hurons with a ninth-inning, walk-off, 1-0 shutout victory. Pobladores pitcher Tony Williams threw 7.2 innings of shutout ball.\n

Hamilton Craft was the walk-off hero for Los Angeles. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Pobladores right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"Everything felt in sync," said Williams.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at San Vicente Park in Los Angeles.
