Almost There: Cleveland On
Cusp of World Series Triumph After 9-4 Win
|
With second baseman John
Sublett leading the charge, the Cleveland
Bobcats crushed the Los
Angeles Pobladores, 9-4, in Game 4 of the
World Series today. Sublett went 1 for 2 with a home
run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times at Lakefront
Stadium as Cleveland cruised to a 3-1 lead in the
best-of-7 series.
Tony Galaz
had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of
the sixth for Cleveland. He came through with a
run-scoring single to put Cleveland in front, 4-2.
"We don't have much margin for error now,"
Pobladores manager Kurt Peterson said. "We need to
figure out the problem and fix it, immediately."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at
Lakefront Stadium in Cleveland.
