Narrow Series Deficit to 3-1

Charlie
Sinclair was not about to watch an opponent
celebrate a championship on his home field.
The left-hander pitched the Toronto
Hurons to victory at Dominion Field today,
staving off the Cincinnati
Packers, who remain one game away from a
title. Sinclair threw 9.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The
win cuts the series deficit for the Hurons to 3-1 in
the best-of-7 series.
Sinclair went the distance for Toronto. He allowed 1
run on 4 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 0.
"Charlie is tough when he's hitting his spots," said
Toronto manager Jim Burns.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at
Dominion Field in Toronto.
