San Francisco Win to Pull Even With Baltimore
The San Francisco Seagulls topped the Baltimore Lords by the score of 8-4 and moved into a 2-2 tie in the League Championship Series today. The largest share of the credit belongs to San Francisco starter Paul Schuler, who threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball in the win.

San Francisco relied on the bat of Lewis Smith to get the win. The right fielder ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the Seagulls ahead, 1-0. For the game, Smith had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.

Schuler said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Seton Hill Stadium in Baltimore.
