San Francisco Takes League Championship Series in Deciding Game
It was a rousing finish to the League Championship Series at Mission Field today.

The San Francisco Seagulls sent the Baltimore Lords home for the season with a 7-1 win in the decisive game of the series.

The Seagulls took the series 4-3. Up next on their schedule is the World Series.

Hauling in the MVP trophy was San Francisco third baseman Randy Paterson. His numbers included a .448 batting average, 4 RBIs and 5 runs.

"With any luck, I'll be hoisting another one of these at the end of the World Series," he said.

The San Francisco Seagulls will play against the Philadelphia Quakers in the next round. Philadelphia won their series against the Cincinnati Packers 4 games to 2. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
