Pobladores Win to Extend Series Lead to 3-0
The Los Angeles Pobladores moved to within one game of the World Series today, downing the Baltimore Lords on the road at Seton Hill Stadium by a score of 4-1. Pobladores left-hander Swanee Law had a strong outing. He threw 9.0 innings allowing 1 runs. The win gives the Pobladores a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 League Championship Series.

Los Angeles used a well-timed hit by Hatrack Hines to capture the win. The left fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Pobladores ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"I like the roll we're on," said Los Angeles manager Kurt Peterson.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Seton Hill Stadium in Baltimore.
