American Baseball League Defeats National Baseball League 4-3 in Tight All-Star Game
|
Although his team came out on the losing end, nobody could deny Ralph King's performance in this year's all-star game.
The National Baseball League All-Stars fell to the American Baseball League All-Stars by a score of 4-3, but King was still named the game's MVP.
"You would have liked to have won the game of course, but being named the MVP is a great honor," he said from his team's dressing room at Flatbush Park.
In the contest, King went 3 for 3.
