Divine, Seagulls Sink Packers Again in Game 3
Riding the 3-hit performance of left fielder Chuck Divine, the San Francisco Seagulls got a road win against the Cincinnati Packers, 7-5, in Game 3 of the World Series today. Divine belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the Seagulls, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 0.

The Seagulls took a 7-3 lead in the top of the eighth inning. Facing Cincinnati hurler Brian Souza with no outs, Divine hit a 2-run home run.

"We haven't stopped playing," Cincinnati manager Martin Abresch said. "We didn't get this far to give up."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Roman Arena in Cincinnati.
