Cincinnati Wins at Home to Narrow Series Deficit to 3-1
Irwin Frongillo was not about to watch an opponent celebrate a championship on his home field.

The right-hander pitched the Cincinnati Packers to victory at Roman Arena today, staving off the San Francisco Seagulls, who remain one game away from a title. Frongillo threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball. The win cuts the series deficit for the Packers to 3-1 in the best-of-7 series.

Don Hatton, the Cincinnati second baseman, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the third inning to make the score 2-0, Packers. For the game, Hatton went 1-5. He drove in 2 runs.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Hatton told the Cincinnati Today.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Roman Arena in Cincinnati.
