League Championship Series Goes the Distance, Cleveland Prevails
Major League Baseball pundits who figured the League Championship Series between the Cleveland Bobcats and Kansas City Bulls would go the distance were right on the mark.

The two teams battled back and forth in a spirited series, with Cleveland coming out on top thanks to a 6-4 win in the deciding game at Lakefront Stadium, to wrap things up 4-3.

"You get to the last game and anything can happen, so we're overjoyed to come out on top," said Bobcats second baseman Harold Batkin, who was named series MVP.

For the series, Batkin had 10 hits for a .370 average. He had 4 home runs, 9 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The Cleveland Bobcats don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Toronto Hurons - Chicago Hawks series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
