Terriers Clip Hawks 4-3 in LCS Contest
With starter Bob Schar leading the charge, the Boston Terriers defeated the Chicago Hawks, 4-3, in Game 3 of the League Championship Series today. The left-hander threw 7.0 innings allowing 3 runs at Hyde Park Stadium to help Boston take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Greg Taylor? The Boston right fielder had a bases-clearing double in the top of the second inning to put the Terriers on top, 4-0. For the game, Taylor had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

Taylor told a Boston Bulletin reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Hyde Park Stadium in Chicago.
