Hawks Win League Championship Series
The Chicago Hawks are on to the World Series after a convincing series win over the New York Empires.

Chicago wrapped up the series sweep with a 8-4 win in the last game, to take the series 4-0.

"We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Matt Garrison, who was named series MVP.

For the series, Garrison hit .529 with a .556 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The Chicago Hawks don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Cleveland Bobcats - Kansas City Bulls series. Kansas City leads the series 3 games to 1. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
