The Dallas Wranglers got an exceptional performance from starter Dario Perez, who silenced the Boston offense en route to a 5-0 shutout win in Game 2 of the League Championship Series today. The Terriers could never get a bead on the left-handed Perez, who threw 9.0 innings of shutout ball. The Wranglers now hold a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

Perez tossed 104 pitches over 9 innings to clinch the win for the Wranglers. The left-hander allowed just 2 hits, while racking up 10 strikeouts in the game.

"Nice win for us," said Perez. "Now we'll go after the next one."
