Cleveland Takes 2-1 Lead in League Championship Series
When the stakes were high, Paul Wiley raised his game to match.

The right-handed Wiley turned in a stellar performance in Game 3 of the League Championship Series today, pitching a 9-inning, complete-game shutout to lead the Cleveland Bobcats to victory. He allowed 5 hits and struck out 7. The win gave Cleveland a 2-1 lead over the Kansas City Bulls in the best-of-7 series.

Wiley allowed 1 run over 9 innings. He also racked up 7 strikeouts.

"I'm proud to wear a Cleveland jersey," Wiley told the Cleveland Times. "We played a good game and came out with the win. What more can you ask for?"

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Independence Field in Kansas City.
