Wranglers Win to Extend Series Lead to 3-0
Boston center fielder Lou Middleton pounded Dallas Wranglers pitchers at Atlantic Avenue Grounds, but it was not enough to keep the Terriers from falling, 8-5 in Game 3 of the League Championship Series. Middleton went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once, though he couldn't keep the Terriers from slipping to a 3-0 deficit in the best-of-7 series.

Juan Duran, the former first round draft pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. Duran contributed a run-scoring triple in the top of the sixth inning to put Dallas up, 2-0.

"That felt great," Duran said. "It basically means we're going on to the World Series, which I know I'm not supposed to say, but let's face it, it's true."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Atlantic Avenue Grounds in Boston.
