Knickerbockers Clip Industrials 4-3 in DS Contest
The New York Knickerbockers topped the Pittsburgh Industrials by the score of 4-3 and moved into a 2-2 tie in the Divisional Series today. The largest share of the credit belongs to New York starter Chris Hull, who threw 7.1 innings allowing 3 runs in the win.

New York relied on the hitting of Dave DeHaan to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Knickerbockers on top, 3-0. For the game, DeHaan had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

After the game, New York manager William Bowen applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Allegheny Field in Pittsburgh.
