Bluebirds Win Divisional Series
The Brooklyn Bluebirds are off to the League Championship Series.

By a final score of 11-1 at Corps of Discovery Stadium, Brooklyn ended the Divisional Series and knocked out the St. Louis Explorers by a series score of 4-2.

"Two great teams, only one can go on and we're happy that's us," said Bob Rawlins, who was named series MVP. "There's no easy games, no easy series in the Major League Baseball playoffs."

For the series, Rawlins hit .429 with a .467 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The Brooklyn Bluebirds will play against the New York Knickerbockers in the next round. New York won their series against the Pittsburgh Industrials 4 games to 2. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
