McClellan Blasts Wolverines, Wranglers Take Game 2, 7-5
In a crucial game, the Dallas Wranglers put on their best show, beating the Detroit Wolverines by a final score of 7-5 today. Terry McClellan went 4-6 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Dallas and Detroit are now tied at 1 wins apiece in the best-of-7 affair.

The game was at a stalemate until right fielder Rich Pakula came to bat in the top of the 13th. Facing Detroit pitcher Irwin Frongillo, he hit a full count fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Dallas on top, 6-5.

"Our guys refused to lose," said Pakula.

The next game is set to be played for Monday, October 14th , 1968 at Bluff Park in Dallas.
