Raucous Bluff Park Crowd Propels Wranglers to 3-1 Victory; Series Tied at 3
|
The Dallas Wranglers and the Montreal Habitants will take the Divisional Round to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Wranglers beat the Habitants, 3-1, at Bluff Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Dallas left-hander Dario Perez had a big role in the win. He threw 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball.
Perez gave Dallas a blue-ribbon performance. The 5-foot-11 left-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits over 7.2 innings of work.
"Dario was pounding the zone," said Dallas manager William Albrecht.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Bluff Park in Dallas.
