League Championship Series Goes the Distance, San Diego Prevails
The San Diego Captains and Chicago Traders hooked up in a classic League Championship Series that went right down to the wire.

In the end, it's San Diego heading off to the World Series, after a 4-2 win at Union Field tonight earned the 4-3 series win.

Outside Union Field, whether they were supporters of San Diego or Chicago, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget.

Larry Allen played the hero for the Captains in the series, as his MVP performance included a .360 batting average, with a .385 on-base percentage. He also had 2 home runs, 5 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The San Diego Captains will play against the San Francisco Seagulls in the next round. San Francisco won their series against the Montreal Habitants 4 games to 3. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
