Dallas Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in LCS
With starter Dario Perez leading the charge, the Dallas Wranglers defeated the Detroit Wolverines, 4-2, in Game 3 of the League Championship Series. The left-hander threw 7.1 innings of 6-hit ball at Bluff Park to help Dallas take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Rick Adams, who finished 2nd in the ABL in hits with 195 in 1971, helped out the Dallas cause in the bottom of the eighth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the center fielder was 2-4 with a double. He scored 2 times.

"It was a good effort all around," said Adams.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Bluff Park in Dallas.
