Series Lead Cut to 1 for Pittsburgh After 10-1 Loss
Facing a must-win scenario, the San Diego Captains ran up the score on the Pittsburgh Industrials in a surprisingly easy 10-1 win. The Captains got production from their entire lineup, including pitcher Ray Heath, who threw 9.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The blowout win cuts the series deficit for the Captains to 3-1.

Heath gave San Diego a solid start. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 9 innings.

"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Heath.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at San Diego Sporting Complex in San Diego.
