Barron Now 7-2 After Beating Generals

Rich Barron, who is tied for 4th in the ABL with a 7.5 K/9 rate, pitched a gem in leading Montreal to a 3-1 victory over the Atlanta Generals. The Habitants lead the American Baseball League Eastern Division by 4 games.
Barron, who was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, threw 107 pitches over 8.1 innings, while allowing 1 run.
"I went out and just tried to do my job," said Barron.
