12-7 Loss Extends Washington Losing Streak
Washington second baseman Larry Wools had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 12-7, to New York at Knickerbocker Stadium. Wools was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2. The losses continue to mount for Washington, which has now dropped 7 in a row.
