Blockbusters Need Extra Frames to Get Past Dairymen
|
The Los Angeles Blockbusters got great pitching from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Dario Fontanez, allowing them to bump off the Milwaukee Dairymen, 4-1. Basil Anderson closed the game out for Los Angeles, earning his 1st save. The Blockbusters win now puts them at 33-40.
Jim Brookins had a direct impact on the outcome. Brookins contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put Los Angeles up, 1-0.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Milwaukee manager Brandon Dudley.
