Gerald Gross pitched a gem to lead Twin Cities to victory over the San Francisco Seagulls, 5-1. The Northmen, at 36-38, sit in 5th place in the American Baseball League Western Division.

Mike McGurn hit a 2-run double off Archie Sereni in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Northmen in front, 3-1. In addition to the double, McGurn had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Gross.
