Milwaukee second baseman Reggie Bryce was instrumental in helping the Dairymen triumph, 7-5, over the San Diego Captains. Bryce went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Keith Williams picked up the win, lifting his record to 5-5 on the season. He struck out 6 and walked 2 in 7 innings, while yielding 4 runs. The Dairymen move to 36-38 with the win, while the Captains drop to 42-31.
