Alexander Shuts Out Cincinnati, 3-0
Dave Alexander was in a mood to talk following the Washington Eagles contest against the Cincinnati Packers, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Packers, 3-0.

"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Alexander said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."

The right-hander blanked Cincinnati on a 5-hitter, allowing 5 walks and racking up 3 strikeouts.

In 19 starts this season, Alexander has crafted a 9-6 record with a 3.60 ERA.
